Brake: Safe Cycling

You should try buying a Specialized bike.  In an idle moment I was browsing through the assorted bumf that came with my recent purchase and came across an interesting little publication call the 'Bicycle Users Handbook'.  This goes to great lengths to tell you that everything to do with cycling can "cause serious injury or death."  This includes braking suddenly, jumping a bike, downhill cycling, incorrect gear adjustment and, best of all, riding after dark (only to be attempted by adults and then only if absolutely necessary).  Just in case you are still in any doubt about the potential of your recent purchase to cause you serious harm, Specialized cover the bike in yellow warning stickers just to ram home the message or could they be disclaimers to protect them from any future legal action - no now I'm just being cynical.
