Continuing this catalog of the threadbare, this protest against planned obsolescence,
here is my backpack. Purse, really. What it can't hold isn't worth taking. I've replaced the zipper for the top pocket twice so far. That pocket
makes the bag. It's perfect for wallet, change, bits and pieces. Sewing in a new zipper there isn't much fun, which is why I have a seamstress do it. She's the one who told me it isn't much fun. I'm not sure how many more zippers I can break until she goes on strike.
