Just in case anyone gets the mistaken impression that I am capable of snappy epigrams, the "It's about having a good time, not doing a good time" was a quote from Chris Avery, who, incidentally, was capable of doing a good time, but usually sacrificed it to having (in his eyes) a good time, usually measured by the amount of tea he drank. He used to carry spare tea bags, just in case (horror of horrors) he encountered a café which had run out.And doing a good time is a perfectly valid way of having a good time.
