A while back I confessed that I don't need any more bicycles. I'm now cautiously expanding this to include everything. I'm pretty happy with my stuff collection. This is not to say I won't continue to download music or buy books from Amazon and Oxfam, as words and music are like food and don't count. Nor does this include
replacing stuff to maintain the status quo; having waited about a decade for something like an iPod to come along, I'm not giving that up when it bites the dust. But my wish list for new acquisitions has evaporated to nothing. Conveniently, this state of mind took hold after last week's purchase of a DVD recorder.
If you start noticing a downturn in the economy, you know who to blame.
