...Here Is a Brief History of British politics at the close of the 20th and start of the 21st centuries.

After the Labour party ditched Wurzel Gummage Michael Foot and then the Welsh Windbag  Neil Pillock Kinnock & their other guy (John Smith) died of fright at the thought that Labour might win an election they finally chose Tony B. Liar as their leader.

Tony was a cunning Tory ploy.   The Tories had held power for an unprecedented period.  They had policies which were three goose steps to the right of the Waffen SS; They had numerous embarrassments involving strange goings-on with oranges,  bulging buff envelopes, ministerial prison 'visits' and assorted sex romps.  They knew they were not going to be elected and so contacted the 'sleeper' who was working for them as leader of the Labour party.  Tony BLiar was given a copy of the Tory party manifesto and used it to get himself voted into 10 Downing Street.

In order not to spoil a good thing the Tories made sure they did not get themselves elected.  They did this by electing William Hague, followed by Ian Duncan Smith,  Michael Howard and now David Cameron.  They have studiously avoided their most electable bloke (Ken Clarke) and will keep him on the sidelines until Gordon 'Prudence' Brown takes over as leader of the labour party.

Assuming that this happens before Ken Clarke (and the rest of us) die of old age, the Tories will then ditch the chameleon and make Ken their leader.

To sum up:
To vote Tory you have to vote Labour until Tony BLiar is no longer leader of both parties.  If you believe you can vote Tory by voting Tory then you have to understand that (at the moment) this is just a waste of your voting rights.  When the Tories have an electable leader (such as Ken Clarke) you will again be able to vote Tory by voting Tory.

As a brief aside it is possible to vote for the Green Party by voting Tory.  Your vote will be equally ineffective

Does anyone have any questions? ;)
