Many people went a little loco when I turned smileys off, I announced I was quitting the forum (not specifically over smileys but the results of the experiment were the catalyst), there was alarm about the future of acf, with demands to turn over the "keys" and immediate launching of a "lifeboat", I came back and deleted accounts, others left of their own volition, Godwin's Law with Pol Pot corollary reached full flowering, including references to the night of the long knives because even those who know about Godwin can't resist helping themselves to more, I have suffered character assassination over donations and other things, the forum lost much of its previous activity because of my outrageous crimes against humanity, now there is
yet another cycling forum.
