Mrs G has been on the canal with her camera whilst walking the dog.Today is the Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race and at a place called Wide Waters, near to Lady's Bridge - two swans return to nest every year.Some of you may appreciate that swans are quite fearsome at protecting their territory. I have heard tales of people having their arm broken when a swan hits it with their wings.Mrs G tells me that a few of the canoeists actually picked up their crafts and ran along the tow path to avoid this protective bird.Some didn't.The nest.The guard.The victims.More.More victims.More victims.Intercept mode.Going back to get ready for the next lot.And don't come back.
