When I was at university I agreed to be a tester for someone's project on body dysmorphia.  We had to look at a series of life size silhouettes and pick the one we thought was closest to our body shape.

Almost all the women polled picked a silhouette at least one size bigger than they were.

(Personally I think this had a lot to do with a morbid fear of picking the one they really thought was accurate, only for someone to turn round and say "God, in your dreams, porky.")

I was the only woman polled that day who picked a silhouette smaller than I actually was.  8)

According to the BMI thingies I am pretty normal.  Sure, there are bits of me that compare favourably to the average female, and lots of bits of me that compare unfavourably.  If I could choose, I'd have longer, slimmer legs.  If I could be stricter with myself, I could lose a stone.  Am I bothered?  Not so's you'd notice.

There are 3 billion women on this earth.  Only six of them are supermodels.
