Apples and Grapes

And... Men are like a fine wine.
They start out as grapes, and it's
up to women to stomp the crap out of them
until they turn into something acceptable to have
dinner with.

But grapes already have their full potential - the yeast - etched into their flesh right from the start.  Women just come along, pick them up, wait for them to realise this potential, then sit around with their mates gossipping about "my wine's full-bodied with lots of subtle fruity hints".
