Currently I have a Panasonic FZ5 superzoom, which is great optically and compact for putting in pocket (just), but not so good noisewise above ISO80 (although it has IS).

I'll see your snowy owl and raise you...a European eagle owl. :)

OK...  I'll see your European eagle owl, and raise you...a Peregrine Falcon.   ;)



Do you get the feeling we're being watched.  Great pic, by the way Rob...Owls just have fantastic eyes.
