I didn't know about any of these rules. Every time I hear another interesting rule or archived nugget of information about audax, I imagine that there is a Guardian of the Hidden Audax Knowledge, somewhere in a shed in the countryside, with a long grey beard and robes, who holds a bunch of keys in his gnarled old hands. Between arbitrating disputes over the points championship, writing his decisions in pen and parchment on a flowing cursive script, he manages to fit in impossibly long rides on an ancient Raleigh.
