Title: truly recumbent

How was this taken?

With a great deal of difficulty. The bike, which later vanished (https://jollygoodthen-75205.medium.com/the-vanishing-85b8babfe9) from the picture, was screwed into a turbo trainer. (http://www.notanothercyclingforum.net/index.php?topic=287.0) My assistant was a tripod. The outtakes faithfully captured my discomfort.

A better question might be, why was it taken.

This image is easily worth the thousand words I could use to describe how cycling makes me feel. No, not sleepy, though I did once nod off somewhere in Somerset in the middle of a dreamy 400k ride. Balancing on two spinning wheels which I set in motion myself has the magical ability to bring my thoughts and emotions into equilibrium. It's not about the bike. But the bike sure helps.

PS. Where's my medal? (http://www.notanothercyclingforum.net/acf/index.php?topic=52391.0)
