I'm not certain why
modern art so successfully triggers my gag reflex. I have sympathy for artists, and they don't even have to be starving.
Maybe it's because I see artistry everywhere, and having some of it cordoned off and creatively and officially labelled as such is too much for me. Unless it's especially pretty, of course; and looks like something I couldn't do even if I had a thousand years to practice.
