The question I have is one that has had me puzzled and perplexed for many a year. Discussions with Mrs. FB to resolve my queries has, alas, been fruitless, so I throw my questions open to the forum.The questions relate to certain household items and their raison d'être.Firstly; the cushion. We have a pair of very comfortable sofas, the design of which was probably worked upon by technicians highly skilled in the ergonomics of furniture technology. My wife decided that they needed to be garnished with eight ornate cushions (@ £16 apiece :o ). These cushions have to be discarded upon the floor in order to use the sofa for its intended purpose, viz: sitting.So my question is: What are cushions for?
