Geoff Waugh is a grumpy old sod living somewhere north of London. In between creosoting the garden shed and retrieving the fluff build up in his trouser turn-ups, he has twice been high commended in the Sport Council (now Sport England) Sports Photographer of the Year competition, highly commended in the Heineken Ice Hockey Photographer of the Year competition and once won a pot of frame polish for not falling off in a downhill event.
He has contributed to most of the major cycling publications, including Velonews, Mountain Bike, BIKE (USA), Australian Mountain Bike, MBi (R.I.P.), Cycling Today (R.I.P.), MBR, MBUK, Cycling Weekly, etc. Until cycling came along to save him he also worked for the Sunday Times, Sunday Express, Mail on Sunday, Sunday Telegraph and The Face, amongst others. He still does the odd job for Loaded, Maxim and FHM, the blerks mags.
