Spoiler
Video works both as a comment on the oft-repeated claim that trans identifying people will kill themselves if they don't get their way they're not affirmed, and my feelings about the following moNkers/spen666 arc.
What is a woman?Yet you still keep responding
Do you own a mirror?
Mirror mirror on the wall, which activists are the most self-centred of all? Please stop it. Seriously. Both going on ignore.
Brian. Mate. You'll miss out on
important updates to terms and conditions.
Gender again. Sorry! If moNkers can keep blocking-but-not-really, I'm allowed to set aside my latest holy vow to forsake the unstoppable gender thread.
I found being called a bigot insulting.
Oh dear, poor poor snowflake.
Man up 😜
This is why entertaining your easily offended attitudes got all of us into this crazy situation
We have indeed been in this crazy situation in part because of people like Psamathe, who make no discernible effort to step outside their male frame of reference.
[Mickle] wasn't insulting you. The fact that you don't understand why what he said wasn't an insult to you but a sarcastic parroting of transwomen's replies to women shows that you aren't really up to speed on the debate about women's rights.
I don't necessarily blame the guy for not getting the sarcasm in this case (
here's where it started), but he's outed himself as someone who remains clueless
half a dozen years after swerving this topic.
full disclosure
I later ran into this particular clueless Ian (there are at least two of them at NACA) on
my doomed thread back at CyclingUK.
It is a sad fact of life that not everybody is going to like my style. Instead of fitting me for a scold's bridle, he could've replied to one of my, shall we say, more accessible posts.
As frustrating as he is, I don't imagine Aurora's take-no-prisoners approach here is winning many converts from those lurkers who are also a little slow.
It's an indication of how far behind you are in this debate that you didn't know 'Transwomen don't owe you femininity' is a mantra from the trans community.
More evidence that the poor bewildered man is going to be a time sink. Or would've continued to be if he hadn't then
fled the thread. What is there in "Transwomen dont owe you femininity, you bigot" that suggests it's a joke, no smiley faces, no "Haha" no hint whatsoever
This is why we can't have nice things.
Musical interlude:
These spoilers, which I think of as fancy parentheses, help streamline my posts for clock watchers. You're welcome.
"Wait – who is this other Ian of which you speak?" you ask.
I was merely laughing at your post.

Jowwy Award.Like others on NACA, he suffers from Reasonable Man Syndrome. This is not exclusively a malady of those who don't get it - icowden, for example, is prone to the reasonable man's frequent lapse into
bothsidesism.I agree with a lot of what you say. What I disagree with is the attempts (often by both sides of the debate) to terrorise and silence people.

Good luck finding the terrorising/silencing statement on the other side of that.
I chose MaryCate because she's far more provocative than Rowling, who famously could paper her home with such threats; and yet her main thing is to simply "listen to trans people", i.e.,
repeat what they're saying. I say simply, but it's true she's guilty of adding a large helping of snark.
Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.

https://x.com/babybeginner/status/1919379891465977955 Icowden also thinks that N is real, bless.
I have to say that N's writing style is different and I have no issue with Monkers and N being two different people. She has explained this in detail and given us some of N's background.
To spit or swallow "gifted", that is the question.
There are two possibilities, that @monkers is a gifted writer and is using a fictional character to illustrate her argument or her Niece is real.
Whichever you believe to be true, it doesn't invalidate the arguments that are put across.
Personally I would err on the side of caution and assume that N is real and thus try to take both @monkers and N's feelings into account in what is a highly charged discussion.
While I can agree that arguments should stand or fall on their own, we're talking about someone who literally personifies dishonesty in a way that only a male lesbian can, and cranks out endless DARVO.
One trans woman was violently attacked in the middle of April in the UK. This happened on the doorstep of her home in daylight. Days later she died in hospital from her injuries. When the attack was reported the police did nothing and were not even sympathetic. From witness accounts three men were involved shouting transphobic abuse.
Her name was Lucy. She was married to a cis woman, Katy Lee, who is a lesbian. In a separate incident on the same day in a different place Kay was also attacked by a man with a stanley knife. Katy survived the attack.
The media are silent. However Katy Lee has posted on her LinkedIn account. A crowdfunder has been started.
There is some commentary that claims that Lucy was attacked within minutes of the Supreme Court ruling, although I have been unable to verify that as a fact.
"Within minutes."
As for the rest, let's file that under WTAF.* It would be all over the news if true. Perhaps your Google-fu is better than mine dear lurker, as I can find nothing on it, including at r/transgenderUK, which would probably have it super ultra pinned atop their also relentlessly delusional feed.
*A source (thanks source!)
has tracked this down. Needless to say it's uncorroborated.
I believe you are one of Putin's bots. What else could spend endless hours spouting bullshit, turning everything on its head, relentlessly pouring out slurs, have no compassion, and be an empathy free zone? I mean you don't seem to have any human qualities at all. That means it really doesn't matter how many times I call you an evil c.unt and I never have to feel sorry about it. See how this works yet?
It will at some point sink in that I don't care what you call me but I'm more than happy to let you demonstrate the very typical, very abusive face of trans activism over and over again.
Sunk cost fallacy?
How anyone, in their right mind, can look at the rabble today, screeching their omni-causes, waving their Antifa flags, cheer as a convicted kidnapper, who ate his own testicles, runs around, applaud as “Fag Rights” is scrawled over the Millicent Fawcett statue, watch the pink triangle being hijacked on top of a Churchill statue, witness aggressive men get right up in women’s faces, and think that this stinking carnival is in ANY WAY connected to a noble, worthy cause, is absolutely beyond me...
From James' bio: “It’s not the despair. I can take the despair. It’s the hope I can’t handle.” - Michael FraynmoNkers again. Sorry! How about we just let all people use the public space. That way a man can accompany his wife, partner, girlfriend, daughter, and just wash his hands while she uses the loo. The presence of men will help deter wrongdoing. As a woman, I'm more than fine with that.
To continue the fiction:
I've seen wrongdoing in public toilets. Once in London I was mugged at knifepoint, by three young women. I gave them my purse, they assaulted me anyway for the hell of it. Apparently ''dykes are dirty''. Who knew?
Once in a gay pub in Portsmouth while in the cubicle I heard a violent attack in progress. I came out of the cubicle as quick as I could. A lesbian, known to me as being violent, was pounding her then girlfriend with her pinned against the door. There was blood everywhere, and no way out for me, since like all these spaces there is only one available exit. Apparently she'd looked at another woman.
On another occasion in a pub in Emsworth, I was out with my now partner and two male friends. I went to go to the loo on my own. There was a shared lobby that led to ''gendered'' doors. I went in, came out and there was a man calling himself Alan outside the door wanting to give me his phone number on a piece of paper. I declined, so he set about me. I gave him a bit of a kicking in return and he let me go. I returned to our table visibly shaking. One of the men we were with, then went to the loo, and then to the bar. So we asked ''did you find him?'' ''Yes he replied''. ''So what happened''. ''Nothing we didn't speak, but I've just dropped a lump of my poo in his beer, he'll find it soon enough''. When he found it and yelled his disgust, our friend stood up, stared at him with his arms folded across his chest and said nothing. The landlady was then informed, and the police called.
These invented anecdotes are getting increasingly fantastical. When aiming for believability, less is more, frankly.
As a growing child I had a love of writing.
