
What kind of idiot goes to the book launch but doesn't buy the book and get it signed? (Me. I'll wait for a used copy.*) At least I got a seat front and centre for the discussion, the official video of which probably won't make you seasick...
I'm sure almost everybody came for Dawkins – note the extra cheer when he's introduced, last, as they sometimes do in films like an "oh by the way..." – but all the panelists were interesting. The lady in red is
Alice Sullivan, shortlisted for the
Maddox Prize. Which has nothing to do with the author with two Fords in his name.
*Except that would probably trigger feelings of remorse that I didn't get a signed copy. Silly but true. So I'll probably skip it altogether. There must be plenty online that covers the same ground.
