Repetition of hyperbole is the trans keystone. Every trans is a victim; every kid will suicide; everyone who disagrees with some facet of trans church doctrine is a fascist; on and on and on. But mostly, the twitter imperative is the endless repetition of "trans women" with a space to cement the delineation between the adjective trans and the noun woman. Because that's apparently all it takes in la-la land to disappear a penis.
Once you get past the language created to obfuscate material reality, it's an easy route to follow. Non-binary took root with the phrase “sex assigned at birth."
It was the pointy end of the wedge that would supplant human reproductive biology with “gender identity” as the basis of a person’s sex.
Having achieved a billion echoes of this propaganda, the time honored “give an inch, take a mile” approach was employed to take gender as a social construct and sex as our material reality and flip it all upside down to what we have now: gender identity is one’s fate and biological sex is the social construct.
Given these developments, along with absolute woke horseshit such as the ‘Gender Unicorn’ used to teach kids in k-9 all about this new human Rainbow, it’s no wonder there’s an explosion of children delving into the world of non-binary since it’s been made easier with the concept of “gender expression” (see give an inch, take a mile).
Gender expression, if anyone is being honest, is 100% stereotype. And that would be Trans logic contradiction number I_lost_count.
What's striking to me is how the TRAs who are the most active on Twitter love to use imaginary legions of trans kids to pump their own community cred and fill those GFM coffers.
And of course the AGP faction who've in a lot of cases left their own kids behind. When you distill this TRA to its core you have narcissistic he-shes used to getting what they want having embarked on a twisted power trip supported by a flock believing they'll somehow make people accept them as not freakish. Which could happen, I suppose, given enough time. But forcing that down the 99%'s throat was without doubt terminally shortsighted.
And so now they're going to find out what happens when politicians make them a wedge issue that wouldn't have existed if not for their gender volume having been cranked to 11 long enough to peak the public.
The funny thing is that the fake troon talking points about how random people discover all the time that they have different chromosomes than they expected almost certainly originate from stories of female athletes randomly discovering in adolescence or adulthood that they have XY chromosomes due to some mosaic condition.
But they always leave that part out, and they definitely never dare to question why female athletes might have such a disproportionately high level of chromosome surprises compared to the general population. Or why *male* athletes never ever discover that they have XX. It couldn't be that the XY athletes are getting filtered upwards due to their physical advantages. That observation goes against Troon Canon Law, so they have to ignore it.
I think these men just hear the word "medicine" which to them means handing out drugs and doing surgery, and can't conceive of the concept also including things like a formalized system of ethics. But anyone with even a passing knowledge of medicine (or even related fields) knows that ethics is intertwined with the study of medicine right from the beginning. Ethics questions come up in med school interviews, and even in the MCAT.
So, ironically when "fractionalgirl" tried to use that headline to complain about "laypeople writing about medicine" he inadvertently revealed that he is most likely just a troon autist LARPing as a medical professional.

I don't know much about ancient Mesopotamian beliefs, but in other forms of paganism and shamanism when you had cross-dressing holy people, it wasn't because they were cool and valid and just like the other girls. It was because they inhabited a liminal space between life and death, and between humans and the gods/spirits/ancestors. So wearing opposite-sex clothing or doing other things associated with the opposite sex was sometimes part of that. A "trans" holy person (to be horribly anachronistic for a moment) could not live a normal life, by definition they were outside of the normal.
(Then again, considering Tony's background as a drug dealer and wannabe doctor, maybe "deranged shaman" would have been an ideal lifestyle.)
Ironically there are ample historical examples of people like Tony and his friends having power and widespread leadership positions, as well as unfettered access to women's spaces. They were called eunuchs. The troons are always reluctant to bring that one up, though.

I don’t know that troons like old Tony happen because their parents fucked them up. Some, maybe. Not this kind of guy, though. I think he’s a combination of autism/low empathy/poor theory of mind plus a tendency toward dissociation/body dysmorphia plus having broken his own brain on pornography.
Genuinely, I think it’s possible that we’ll discover that some male brains are vulnerable to catastrophic warping when exposed to too much pornography. I don’t really think we have a strong sense yet of how our brains react to powerful images on a screen, and I think that men in general are more wired to be very sexually reactive to sort of zoomed in, looping hyper imagery that can’t happen in real life.
(Eg even when you’re a man having sex, you are looking at the woman’s body, sure, but you’re also touching and being touched, you’re having physical and emotional sensations in addition to the visual input, you aren’t processing the event primarily as a performance that you’re observing from afar… one hopes.)
I guess I think it’s very possible that some men turn themselves into AGP freaks by being neurologically vulnerable and then watching tons and tons of porn and rewiring their nervous system to directly associate arousal and desire with looking at women, while dissociating from their physical reality, and you wind up with finding yourself “as a woman” fetish-level hot.
I don’t think all men are vulnerable to porn in this way, but I’m a lot less sanguine about pornography than I used to be. Be careful out there.
It's a mix of social awkwardness, and most adults under 40 (Autistic and not, "LGBT" and not) are having less sex and functional relationships. They socialize and date online, watch more porn, view sex as transactional, so they literally have no idea how normal sexuality and attraction works. This is cranked up even more for the social contagion transtrenders who "discovered themselves" via escapist outlets like anime or roleplay. I remember over a decade ago, the "old school" transmedicalist types I knew of were more aware that most people wouldn't be on board with the transsexual thing, and opted for dating "pansexuals" instead. But now the vast majority of self-identified "queers" are both hypersexual and sex-obsessed, but childish and virginal at the same time. They'll say it's transphobic to not have sex with them, but if you point out that genitals are a major factor in having sex (and even for the case of bisexuals or kinky types who don't care about genitals, not everyone is interested in mismatched sex characteristics or just aren't attracted to you), their brains will implode.

And yet another reason why I hate troons and their ilk, this fetishization of our fears. It's not even all about rape -- degenerates come in all flavors. I always wondered how much of it lies at the fault of the way the troon was raised. The more I thought about it, the more I realized it could be anything to nothing at all: autistics who get an idea in their head and stubbornly refuse to budge on it, people who were fetishistically wired wrong, narcissists, and those jumping in for a quick social boost/social security tend not to have fuck up parents. Those who troon for a sense of belonging, as a cure for anxiety or whatever else ails them, to escape the past, and others like that have a chance of their parent(s) being absent or shitty if the insecurity did not come from peers. Those who transition to rebel against the people who raised them and those who are trying to avoid sexual assault are on the obvious side of "parents most likely had something to do with it."
I think the troons horrified of sexual assault or those who suffer a huge disconnect from their bodyparts due to mental illness are the most sympathetic and understandable of the bunch. You can get why they would go through with it: one is fear with untreated hard trauma, the other is mostly hardcoded into them by weird mental health things. People who do it without much research beforehand and focus on it being a step to TRUE and HONEST womanhood are dumb and shortsighted, falling head first into the momentum of the cult without realizing it. Fetishist are people who got metaphorically blinded by their own masturbation habit and are too obsessed with the idea of "VAGINA" that again, even if they research things properly, willingly ignore obvious warning signs, only listen to what they want to hear, and actively shittalk people who complain.
I had to go back to this because it’s such hilarious cope. It's to do with the 'Q' angle – that is, the angle the hips attatch to the pelvis at, and how that affects the way the femur sits on top of the knee joint (along with other small but definable differences in skin tone, muscle definition, fat distribution etc); because women have a wider pelvis our legs come down at an appreciably bigger angle than male ones do and it makes the whole line of the leg look completely different even under clothes. It's one of those million subtle little things that mean we really always can tell, and once you start noticing it consciously you'll never be able to not see it again.

One thing that doesn't get talked about enough is the way that the top-down "trans acceptance" push in the USA coincided right with the start of the Trump presidency and the effects this had on "cis allyship."
Thing is, even very moderate liberals hatedTrump. Tens of millions of Americans hated him so much that they were willing to elect a walking corpse just to get him out of office. Whether that hate was justified or not is irrelevant; the point is that a lot of people were willing to enthusiastically support any culture-war issue that put them on the other side of Trump and Trump supporters. Including troons. I think a lot of troons mistook this proxy war for genuine support. Now many of them are wondering where their allies are and the truth is, most of their allies just didn't give a fuck. They were just swept up in the anti-Trump stuff.
Doesn't this apply to most culture-war issues? Sure, but most genuinely marginalized groups have long accepted that the general population does not give much of a shit about them, and they are accustomed to taking that into account as they attempt to advance their cause. Troons on the other hand are delusional and overconfident, and their movement has been so well-funded and rapid and successful that they have no experience of pushback. Most TRAs are white middle-class young people who are accustomed to being listened to. They have no concept of actual systemic oppression, so they decided that the performative support was an indicator of reality.
Even now, the biggest trans public figures are not attempting to build an empathetic case about what is happening in Texas; they're just whining and scolding people. They are not going to give an inch or even attempt to look at why stuff like this is gaining ground, other than 'republican bigot terf transphobes want kids to die!"

I know it's really really hard for troons to understand the concept of scarcity, something ground squirrels do, but in the real world there are limitations to resources and it's a good idea to prioritize those.
One of the democratizing aspects of the modern internet that goes underexamined is how it has revealed how many elites are not just stupid but delusionally so. I don't mean elites like major celebrities or politicians, I mean the once "faceless" elites like journalists and "experts" like Tony/Alex who are willing to share their stupidity constantly outside their work while their "work" remains within a sphere that removes the context those public displays provide. How many journalists like Ben Collins write "normal" stories and then you have their unhinged social media practices that add so much context that you would have passed over in their work but now you know to read with a critical eye because of their name? You see an article that cites Tony or Alex you instantly suspect that story and that journalist because of what you know about them. How many do you see crying about Elon or JESSE SINGAL or whatever stupid thing of the day while literally shaking about the fascism before your mind automatically starts constructing a new critical frame for people who would have once been able to speak authoritatively in ways that never would be challenged. Repeat endlessly across everywhere.
This is one reason they hate free speech and free press so much and are desperate to frame criticism and mockery as "harassment" and "threats", they don't want to impose self-control on themselves so it becomes necessary to force everyone else to obey the status and authority they think they deserve naturally. There's not supposed to be a debate, there's not supposed to be resistance, the betters of society are supposed to lead the way with complete control. When the fiction of that control is pierced, like with COVID or Trump or tons of other things, everything has to collapse into despair, they can never feel "safe" again. Tons of them have written things like how they can never "trust" society again after these events because a handful of people resisted however minor.
The irony is that one of the most important things in successfully fighting mental illness, especially something like anxiety, is focusing yourself to recognize what is and is not in your control.
