It hurts. Borrowing mums mountain bike. Then buy a GT Karakoram. 1992 Race moutain bike. It hurts more. 1993 Lands End to John O' Groats over 9 days. Race moutain bike again. Only faster. 1994 Dave Yates Swamp Donkey. Still racing. Only slower. 1995 Cross bike. Trailquest. 1996 Convert GT to singlespeed. Polaris. On a tandem. Then again. With a trailer. Singlespeed championships on a cross bike. Buy tandem for Xmas. 1997 Race tandem DH and XC. Buy BOB trailer. Tow it round Polaris. Dave Yates singlespeed - Hello Uncle Tufty. Finish 3 Peaks. Ace Race. 1998 Red Bull 24 hours. On singlespeed. Finally get a Raleigh Chopper for 30th. Spot singlespeed. 1999 Red Bull again. No new bikes this year. Instead give away the Dave Yates singlespeed.
